FIND YOUR FOCUS

Build a bed that suits you.

Take a closer look at the details of each layer before choosing an exact model or size.

01

Mattresses

Compare the actual dimensions, feel and trial terms for the model you are considering.

Before you choose +
  • Check length, width and depth against the frame and bedding.
  • Try the feel in your usual sleeping position where possible.
  • Read the seller's trial, return and collection conditions.
02

Toppers

Consider fit, added height and how the material feels over your existing mattress.

Before you choose +
  • Match the topper's actual dimensions to your mattress.
  • Check the resulting height against fitted-sheet depth.
  • Review care instructions and return exclusions.
03

Pillows

Compare size, fill and personal comfort in the positions you normally use.

Before you choose +
  • Check pillow dimensions and pillowcase fit.
  • Compare height and feel in person if possible.
  • Read washing instructions and return terms.
04

Quilts

Plan the coverage, fabric and care routine that suit your room and preferences.

Before you choose +
  • Check actual quilt and cover dimensions rather than size names alone.
  • Consider the room and your personal warmth preferences.
  • Read fill, washing and drying information.

MEASURE THE ROOM BEFORE THE MATTRESS

A bed that fits.
Space to move.

Estimate equal side clearance when a bed frame is centred along a clear room width. Enter the full frame width, including any side rails, rather than the mattress width.

THE CALCULATION

Clearance on each side = (usable room width − full bed-frame width) ÷ 2

This is a width-only geometric estimate. It does not include furniture, doors, skirting, room length or accessibility requirements. Negative results mean the frame is wider than the available space.

Centred bed clearance

Estimated clearance on each side85 cm

Assumes the bed frame is centred in the available width.

Default measurements are illustrative, not US standard mattress or frame dimensions.
